Five Winners of Top Small Workplaces in 2009 are Employee-Owned
Five winners of the 2009 Top Small Workplaces Award have some form of employee ownership. The awards are presented annually by the Wall Street Journal and Winning Workplaces, a nonprofit consulting and training firm. The award seeks to recognize small company workplaces that have built corporate cultures that foster a productive work environment and satisfied employees.
The five employee-owned winners for 2009 are:
- Analytical Graphics Inc., an aerospace and defense software company based in Exton, PA.
- Bailard Inc., a private investment firm based in Foster City, CA.
- Heavy Construction Systems Specialists Inc., a construction software company based in Sugar Land, TX.
- Skyline Construction Inc., a construction company based in San Francisco, CA.
- The Railroad Associates Corp., a railroad engineering and contracting company based in Hershey, PA.
King Arthur Flour Company, based in Norwich, VT, was one of the winners of the 2008 awards.
